The Advanced Manufacturing Awards were created with the aim of giving recognition and prestige to the companies in the industrial fabric that innovate every day, create products and solutions that help to improve any phase of a company's value chain, making them more efficient, more sustainable and connected.

The aim of the Advanced Manufacturing Awards is to recognise the continued efforts of companies in the industrial sector that have excelled in developing innovative projects in any of the following areas: product launch planning and development, technology used in the production process, technology used in the manufacture of composites, automation process and robotics, product testing or quality control, smart factory, sustainability, production chain management and university research project during the last year.

Award organiser

Easyfairs Iberia, S.L. is the organiser of the loss Advanced Manufacturing Awards, with registered office at Calle Edgar Neville 27, 2º exterior, 28020, Madrid, Spain and C.I.F. B85454700, under the brand names MetalMadrid, Composites Madrid and Robomática Madrid, MetalBarcelona and Robomática Barcelona - Part of Advanced Manufacturing. The evaluation and pre-selection process will be carried out by a Jury formed by experts in the industrial sector (80%) and by popular vote (20%).

Who can participate

The Advanced Manufacturing Awards 2024 are aimed at companies, executives, technology parks, universities and researchers who have launched or implemented an innovative project in one of the phases of the production chain between 2023 and 2024.

Requirements: the product or project must be implemented at the time of closing date for entries.

Formalisation and submission of applications

1. Applications for the Awards will be made exclusively electronically on the Advanced Manufacturing Awards website. (https://advancedmanufacturingawards.com) and shall consist of the following documents:

a) Application form according to the model that appears on the website of the awards in each of the categories, necessarily completed using the electronic means available on the aforementioned website.

b) Descriptive report, in electronic format PDF (Portable Document Format) with a maximum length of 20 A4 pages, which must include:

c.1) Presentation and background of the company.

c.2) Description and details of the project for which the Award is being presented.

c.3) Description and analysis, with concrete data, of the results obtained and impacts derived from the presented project launched on the market between 2023 and 2024.

d) Promotional video of the submitted Project, with a maximum duration of 7 minutes. A link to the video will be included in the application form.

e) Images illustrating the submitted project. Up to three images in JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF format may be included.

f) Additional documentation. Additional material may include as additional material the documents required to support the most outstanding actions for which the Prize has been chosen, in PDF (Portable Document Format) electronic format, with a maximum length of 10 pages.

2. In the event that the documentation is incomplete or contains rectifiable errors, the interested party will be requested to rectify the lack or attach the required documents within a period of ten working days, with a warning that, if they fail to do so, they will be considered to have withdrawn their application.

The organisers reserve the right to modify prices and discounts at their own discretion and according to the timing of the campaign to ensure its success.

Deadline for submission of applications

The deadline for submission of applications will be from 24 April to 30 June. The organisation reserves the right to modify the dates and/or extend the submission period at its own discretion.

Applications made after the closing date of the Competition will be considered void.

Assessment of applications

The Advanced Manufacturing Awards Jury will assess each of the applications, according to the criteria described in each of the award categories.

Jury

  1. Nominations for the awards will be assessed by a Jury made up of experts in the industrial sector, whose vote will have a weight of 80% in the final results, and by popular vote, which will have a weight of 20% in the final results.
  2. The Jury will evaluate each of the projects in the designated category/s from the Advanced Manufacturing Awards Platform and will issue its rating on a scale of 1 to 100.
  3. The popular vote will be limited to one per registered email in each category on the awards website.
  4. The composition of the Jury members will be announced on the Advanced Manufacturing Awards website. (https://advancedmanufacturingawards.com).
  5. The Jury may declare the Awards void if it considers that none of the nominations is sufficiently meritorious or if at least two candidates are not submitted.

Resolución, notificación y recursos

  1. The nomination for the Awards will be announced on 16 September 2024, during MetalBarcelona and Robomática Barcelona - part of Advanced Manufacturing, as well as through the publication of the list of nominees on the awards website. (https://advancedmanufacturingawards.com).
  2. The final resolution of the winners will be revealed during the Advanced Manufacturing Awards ceremony, which will take place on 20 November 2024 at 16.30 at IFEMA. The event will be part of the MetalMadrid, Composites y Robomática Madrid, part of Advanced Manufacturing.

Awards

The Advanced Manufacturing Awards 2024 will honour the winners with the following prizes:

a) Recognition and prestige accredited by the Advanced Manufacturing Awards brand and by the jury's assessment.

b) Individual invitation to attend the Awards Ceremony for each of the finalists in each category.

c) Presentation of the award accrediting the prize obtained and the corresponding category.

d) Dissemination of each of the awards to the media collaborating in Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2024 and on the event's social networks.

e) Delivery of the graphics, banners and materials necessary to accredit the winning company as such, as well as the transfer of the rights of use upon being accredited as the WINNER of the award.

Intellectual property

All companies and individuals must guarantee that they are the owners or authors of the proposal submitted or the holder of the intellectual property rights, exempting the organiser (Easyfairs) from any liability in this regard.

In particular, participants in the competition declare that the proposals made are completely original and that they do not contain any section of any other work of any kind, which could compromise the responsibility of Easyfairs.

If the proposal is a finalist, the participant authorises the organisation to disseminate, reproduce, distribute and publish free of charge, without territorial limitation, and without restriction or reservation in any format and by any means to publicise Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2024.

Participants agree not to receive any remuneration for such publications.

The participant acknowledges having been informed that Easyfairs:

  • It declines all responsibility for the exploitation or dissemination of the proposals submitted by the participants on any medium whatsoever;

Contest entrants hereby waive any and all recourse to Easyfairs.

Data protection

Easyfairs takes the protection of your privacy and personal data very seriously. Due to the confidential nature of the information provided, the organisers, the coordinator and the members of the Jury of the awards guarantee to preserve the identity of the participants and the content of their projects.

In accordance with the provisions of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter, " GDPR ") and in the Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (hereinafter, "LOPDGDD"), each Participant, by accepting these Legal Terms and Conditions, consents to the personal data provided for participation in this Competition being included in a database owned by Easyfairs to process the Participant's participation and to communicate the prize in the event that he/she is the winner.

Easyfairs maintains adequate security in accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, and has established all the technical means at its disposal to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of the data provided by the Participants through the Contest, without prejudice to informing them that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable. Easyfairs undertakes to comply with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality with respect to the personal data contained in the Database in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The Participant guarantees that the personal details provided are true and is responsible for notifying Easyfairs of any changes to them. The Participant will be responsible, in any case, for the veracity of the data provided, and Easyfairs reserves the right to exclude from the Contest any Participant who has provided false data, without prejudice to any other actions that may be applicable by law. It is recommended to take the utmost diligence in terms of Data Protection through the use of security tools, and Easyfairs cannot be held responsible for theft, modification or loss of illicit data.

Once the project is selected as a finalist, the organisers of the awards may make public any details or characteristics that could be considered as public data (name of the project, responsible organisation, person in charge, web pages, description, purpose and category).

Legislation and jurisdiction

These rules are governed by Spanish law. Participants agree that any disputes that may arise in the interpretation and execution of these rules shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the city of Madrid.
